    Passenger side RainWater on floor

I have a 99 trans am and everytime it rains the passenger side gets wet. I discovered that it was leaking from inside the console

I shot water into this grill here below the windshield:

And thats how i discovered that is where the water is getting through. I first thought it was the t-tops leaking but didnt find any evidence. So before i decide to start taking things apart with out really knowing what to look for, i was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or can give me some advise on what to look for.

    Thanks in Advance!!

man that dont make sense to me. . . to get puddled up water in the floor like that and your window or ttops not be leakin, i would first think heater core. it doesnt smell of coolant does it? but how youve decribed it, it couldnt be that. maybe a rubber boot in the firewall has come out ?? good luck!

Nope no coolant im pretty sure its rain water. I dont want to start taking things apart just yet because its raining alot here and i dont want to leave anything exposed to water that shouldnt be. If i had a garage id be all over it now.

Only thing I can think of would be the same as my old car, coming through the bottom of the windshield.....might need to have it reinserted? That's what I had to do. The factory adhesive sucked, so the body shop just took it off and put it back on. Not sure if this is your problem though.

could be it have a glass guy look at it . . . some of them can come to where your car is, be it at your work or your home, and check it out and/or fix it.

i have a 2002 WS6 and mine has done it once...but it rained off and on for a couple of days. Not as wet as yours though...just a run down the side of the console and one down the passenger floorboard from under the dash.
