Parts before Priorities......
Well if you own a Trans Am you would rather buy parts than pay bills. Well unfortunately after the borla exhaust i found out its going to cost about $800 to register my car. Which isnt too bad except i finally found the Ram Air hood i have been looking for... Guess parts can wait.

yes thats the only way it would be $800 dollars.. i live in louisiana as well and if you buy a car from an individual, you have to pay the taxes on the car when you go to get the plates on it.. just one down fall we have when not buying from a dealer.. and thats $800 bucks on a car thats 12 yrs old.. imagine what it would be if only a year or 2 old?? ouch!!

that or if you have a lapse in your insurance coverage and you get a flag on your license.. that case its $250 per flag... and each flag has to be paid before you can re-register your car.. and here i think its a $400 dollar fine if you get caught with no insurance now.. i may be wrong on that number, but its something close to that. so in louisiana keep insurance on your cars!!!

Yea in Louisiana we have to pay the tax on the title which if not paid in a certain time gets taxed. So in the end it cost a lot.

- 2000 Trans Am
That seems ridiculous. I thought IL was bad for charging $98 for sticker renewals.
