Original Monsoon speakers-98'
Anybody know what make and size the original speakers were in the 98'Firebird T/A WS6? I have a rear seat bass speaker that I 've been told I only need to replace the foam around it- but I need the size and make to order the foam piece.

Ok- could recone just the one- or I found on auto part express- 6.5" Bose for 13.50 ea.- could do both back ones-
will check the other place too- Question- if I replace the 2 rear with Bose will it sound any different or is that a dumb question...

It would likely sound different. Depends on ohm load and power.
You would also need to verify they are not too deep of a magnet otherwise you would need a spacer to have them fit....which would probably cost more than the speakers themselves.

I just got a new set of replacement speakers online. Only cost me like $50 or $60 for the set for the sail panels and $45 for the front doors. Thinbk it was gmpartsdirect I got them from since I didn't wanna redo the whole system at that time.

Car guy says they are the same ohm-4 and should handle to power fine, and that we won't need the spacer-cool. I'll still check around a little, but I've gotten some good ideas- thanks you guys.
