optimal performance
Hi guys I know this is probally a stupid question but how do you know if your ls1 is running top notch? I am not a mechanic nor do I pretend to be. I am new to the ls1 motors and have never driven one before I owned one. It has been my dream to own one of these cars.
My car was throwing a code which i thought to be the 02 or the cats. Now after a few tanks of premium the code has went away and not came back. The previous owner told me he ran regular in it, but barely drove it.
I just don't know how to feel about the cars performance because I have nothing to compare it too.
It's fast. It's also stock. Like anybody else I am always craving more power and speed, I just want to make sure my car is performing like it should, because i have no odvious signs that it's not yet...
Any help or oppinions would be appreciated.

The only way to do it is to do a full tune tune up on it. New plugs, filters, fluids and belts.
