Manual or Automatic?
Manuals respond well to 4.10/4.11 gearing and Automatics are fine with 3.73s.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A w/ mods, 00 FBVert
Are you putting this into the stock rear or a 9" or 12 bolt rear?
Stock - you are just going to end up spending more $$ to replace it in the end. They are weak and have been known to break under stock power. I say save the $$ to upgrade to one of the other rear ends and still put the gearing you want.
just trying to say you some money that's all.

I would mirror that above.... A4 - 3.73, M6 - 4.10s. I must be lucky with my stock rear. A lot of hard runs and no problems yet. Had 3.90s in for 3 years now.
2000 WS6 TA #2946 - A4, Best 1/4: 12.5s @111mph.
SLP LTs, 228r Cam, SY 3500, Shift kit, LS6 intake, underdrive pulleys, lid, p&p TB, Borla w/ cutout, Pro-kit springs, poly all around, Hotchkis suspension, 3.90 gears, tuned.
