oil leak update...

    Our car weeps and it is definitely the oil pan gasket. I had the transmission out a few months ago and the OPSU, rear main and rear cover were all bone dry.

    im preety sure mine isnt the oil pan gasket, i just replaced it, and only the back of the motor is wet. im sure its the rear main cover and rear main, i didnt measure the allignemnt when i installed it, so its probably off just enough for oil to leak by. ill fix it again when i get my stall.

    I just found my main oil leak, it was a missing o ring on the dip stick tube. I am sure it corroded before it failed, so it might be a easy, cheap place to start on these phantom leaks.

    I had oil leaks all over mine when i got it
    I don't think there's an original gasket on my engine
    Finally clean down there
