The front end is very nice, the rear, not so sure, the exhaust tips pointing towards the ground similar to the ones on the 2nd gen's does not work well on this car, tailights are a little to dark, other than that it's completley sick.

I'm all in if they build that one! It would also have to be a convertible too.

I actually read an interview in High Performance Pontiac that they did with Kevin Morgan the other day.

First off only the concepts will be called T/As the actual production version cars will be called Phoenix.

They stated that the base model will probably be around $30k over the price of the Camaro and $50-60k for the supercharged package.

They did say they are going to make the shaker hoods fully functional on the production cars.

This will all be done through 3rd party vendor and manufacturers none of it is actually approved or licensed by GM.

Check the site again, there are new pics up of the redesign. I would post a pic but I can't just yet. The fron looks good, but he stilled missed the mark on the back.

I like this concept much better than the first one, but it bothers me the way the shaker scoop is sticking through the camaro hood. With all the custom work they are already having to do I don't understand why they don't make a new hood for the shaker, instead of cutting a hole in a camaro hood. The fact that it will still say Chevrolet Camaro on the title/registration will be weird too. I was hoping if this was done that SLP would do it, maybe even use the firehawk name on it (instead of on the rediculous G8 "firehawk"). Something like that approved by GM would make a lot more sense I think.

So what will this car be sold as?

A Chevy Camaro w/ Kevin Morgan Phoenix Package?

Or will this be a private conversion?

yes. They'll sell it in various ways. You can buy the car from them with the kit and various performance upgrades OR you can bring them your car and they'll convert it OR they'll sell you the body kit and you do it yourself.

I like the Lingenfelter one a little better, but I look at them all as any other custom ride- creative even if not my taste. I do have to say that nothing says the '70's like the metallic blue vinyl seats... :-)

Anyway, that's why they offer the same basic body with different styles- gotta meet different people's taste even if they may not be your own. I say keep up the creativity- custom automakers fuel the design imaginations of manufacturers. There will always be critics/haters, but keep up the ideas. There was a great line from the Disney movie "Meet the Robinsons": "From failure you learn, from success... not so much."

I say the Gen4 WS6 looked better. I'm a Camaro guy and had to admit that it looked lame compared to the T/A and WS6's. It has better lines that say power than a redone of the retro-Camaro. I do "like" the retro-Camaro, but if you take a profile view of one and one of the Challenger and then one of a first-gen Camaro you'll see Dodge made a better looking retro-Camaro than Chevy did. Of course both are too heavy. The Bandit/Phoenix concepts just don't look as good as the RamAir WS6.
