off the line and headers
i think i'm gonna be living in washington for a while and i was wondering if anyone knows if long tube headers are legal here. also, i haven't taken my car to the strip yet and i need some advise on getting off the line(i have a '00 ws6 6m). thanks

LT's are technically offroad use only. It's difficult to run cats on LT's because of clearance and fitment.

oh and getting off the line, with an M6, you have to practice. What I did was practiced in a parking lot. But What I usually do is I bring it up to about 3200, I usually run stickies or DR's, Drop the clutch and feather a 1/4 throttle, what for the traction then roll on the gas

Silver- 2002 Firebird Formula
Takes alot of practice launching the M6 good. Plus imo, it being a hydraulic clutch makes it even harder. It depends so much on tires and grade of road... One nice straight near my house I can rev upto 3k and pop the clutch and only get a lil tire spin and stay hi in the powerband, others just balance hard throttle hitting with slipping clutch...
