O2 sensors
If u have 2 O2 sensors disconnected from your car how much power do u think u will be losing and gas mileage etc..?

well if you dont plug the holes you will have issues also i dont think your car would even run if those two are disconnected. IDK could be wrong but wouldnt want to find out.

thats what my dads buddy said whos a mechanic. It runs and they arent even plugged in, he said he has no idea how the car is running.

The front O2's are used to adjust your fueling. Even with them unplugged the car will probably still run, albeit poorly. My understanding is that the PCM is using a series of tables to control fueling. The O2's simply provide additional feedback to fine tune the air/fuel ratio on the fly. Still, it's probably not a great idea to run around with them unplugged.

it runs fine, until u get on it a little and it starts crackling and breaking up like crazy. Will u lose a lot of power from this?

my buddy rode around in his camaro without the o2's connected while waiting for the o2 extensions to come in. he went from about 19 mpg to about 10 mpg and his car was slower than hell.
