get a v8. As time passes by you would be wishing to have bought a v8 if you got a v6. Also the v8 gas mileage would be just as good if not, even better than the v6.

    Again, get a v8

def. v8, jus dont haul ass everywhere or you can pretty much watch your gas gauge drop.

If you don't have the money or you haven't driven a v-8 before and just want a decent car then get the v-6. I think they have the 3800's in them which are good dependable motors. I have one in my 2001 Grand Prix GT with over 140000 on it and it's still running strong! Besides it's a good way to get used to the power that even a v-6 has before moving to the v-8. If you have the money and have driven a v-8 before (or at least a 200 hp v-6 with rear wheel drive) then definately get the v-8.

Thanks for all the replies. I have driven a V8 before, just didnt want to spend money on a V6 when I could wait and get one for the same price but a V8.

V-8 = better resale and longer lasting more reliable engine. I've had both and you will regret having a V-6. Then I could be wrong.
