Always shoot for new trim and lettering in any car when you get in an accident so after paint when you install it you can't tell it was ever hit.     Side Molding Delete IMO!

    1998 Trans Am

    I had the moldings off when I put new ones on and I would only do it if I was going to delete the letters as well. I didn't care for the way the letters looked without the molding. later when I repaint the entire car i'll delete the moldings and letters and airbrush the Trans Am on in pearl so they only show up in the light.I personally like the moldings. Also if you get in a wreck get them and sell them on ebay to make some cash.
