Me too, but the sticker price might shy me away. I'd be happy with a plain 5.0

Wow...talking about Mustangs on this forum?? Hmmm....maybe I should find a different forum.... lol

Nuttin wrong with that Some of us are bonified car enthusiast's that appreciate any brand of American made muscle car.
There are certain Ford and Chrysler muscle cars that I would be a fool to kick out of my garage, even though I'm a GM guy for the most part.

I love them all too man....anyone who can't find appreciattion for a 302 probably isn't a true "hotrodder".....but going from a Firebird to a Mustang...I just can't see. But every man is entitled to his opinions.....got nothing but love coming from this way, bud. I hope you find a good deal....and one that gives you considerably less trouble.

Hell, I consider myself a die hard GM enthusiast and I somehow ended up with 3 Dodges in my garage.

Ha yeah ima huge firebird lover. Ls1's down here have just increased in value, v6's however have gone the opposite way.. Although I did get $4500 for the car, I spent nearly $12,000 into her in the past 2 years. She never liked treating me right... But we will see what happens with my 2nd car owned ever.
They say letting go your 1st car is the hardest and to me it is... Graduation is comming up so I should prolly hold off buying a car, but I just have to much love for american muscle I gotta have it!

haha...I drove the piss out of my 1st car. It was a 2 door Malibu. I was gonna build something to drop into it, but never got around to it. I drove it till the wheels fell off! (literally...front wheel came off at 50mph. lol) But yeah...I hated to get rid of it. You'll find something good man....And if you're like me...you'll love your second car more than the first.

Thanks chris, you just boosted up my positive side lol. Im a tad bit down from selling the car... Im now using my friends to get me to school, home, and work.

I still miss mine like on star filled night skies when I would take a hot summer cruise in the country with the tops out..
I had the H3 in the woods a couple months ago, I had a blast but,,, there was just something missing.
I'm starting to hit my project car pretty hard again, I'll have a quick cruiser soon enough again..
... so will you..

Why don't you look at newer g8s or gto's! I don't have any beef against ford but I couldn't sell a Pontiac and not go back to one. Something about the badge that hits home. Could be the fiero lover inside me but idk2002 Camaro SS Black Betty

I'm speaking of brand new stuff that's out there. If I were on the market I'd go for a new mustang over anything else. However, I like pontiacs too (I have a 70 formula ram air III)
Do they make a G8 in a 2 door? We had looked at GTO's about 4-5 years ago when my wife's 97 Z got totalled and she needed a replacement. Loved the interiors and wanted a 6.0 version, but just couldn't get passed the price tag for what was a used car at the time, and didn't have time to wait around for a deal. Ended up with a 2000 SS camaro for her. It's been a good car and she's happy. When she is happy, I'm happy

Ls1 cost $7000 +. Anything below its high miles or something is wrong with it. At least thats how it is in houston..

Get an LT1 or 4 car. Surely if you like muscle you can do better than a mustang. That just hurts lol. :P
Good luck though man.
