Not bad. Not a fan of white with tan interior though.

HA! I'm still checking sales on eBay, too. I wish I could buy an A4 and use it as a daily driver. My wife wants me to squander my money on food and shelter, though.

live in Atlanta and bought mine from a dealer in KC. I flew out to drive it home rather than let them deliver the car. I wanted to check it out before going in debt. It worked OK for me. I would never pay in full before seeing the car.

True, there is a risk. I suppose you are gambling the price of an airline ticket plus the mandatory deposit, if there is one, to win the auction and pick up the car.

    It sure was fun, though.

My 02' TA is the 4th car I've bought on Ebay (and sold 3). I always make sure the deal is good enough that it pays for the plane ticket and trip home. The price of a ticket is no big deal, and I like to travel, so if the car doesn't look and drive like expected I have no problem going home empty handed. This hasn't happened yet, but I don't deny it could happen. I have always been the adventurous type.

Yeah, this one looks like a nice inexpensive everyday driver. He also has a "Make Offer" option, which makes it even more tempting. Don't think I could convince the wife on this one, but I'm sure we could afford another $200 a month payment if we stop wasting all that money on food and switch to peanut butter and jelly for a while...lol

You only live once.... Sometimes you just gotta go for it! I figure the worst that could happen is a cheap vacation with no new car on the way home.

I bought a car (88 honda accord) at an auction once. Didn't even drive or look at it prior to it rolling into the auction lane. I bought it for $700 it had 140,000 miles. Drove it for 3 years and 45,000 miles didn't do a thing other than change the oil and a power steering hose and then sold it for $1200. Who knows the last time the timing belt was done. LOL!!
if it's a good deal, you really can't lose. you can always sell it to someone for more than you paid. Always check a carfax it's worth the subscription price.

Looks like someone pointed that out to Ebay and they removed it. A shame, because at that price who really cares?
