Newbie with T/A
Im new to this site. I just got a black 99 trans am M6. I have a few questions. I have a loudmouth on the car but want headers. I want the sound to stay somewhat the same but not change tooo much. I was thinking kooks or QTP. The last question is... is the LS6 intake worth it for the $ you pay???
Thanks

I wouldn't get the LS6 manifold UNTIL you get a bigger cam in there.....you'll get more out of it with a bigger cam. As far as headers and the Loudmouth....it's gonna be LOUD, specially WO cats. Try Ls1sounds.com and listen to diff. setups.

yeah i know
thats wut everyone says. I have cats on my car. I was told if u replace the resonator with a muffler like borla or dynomax you will kill the sound a little bit.

Try it out and see if it's too obnoxious, you can always resell it and get a diff. CB. Personally I like Magnaflow and Hooker myself....both have a real nice old school rumble with headers
