Newbie looking to buy 98-2002 Trans Am--what to look for?

hi there. i have decided to buy a T/A. preferably ws6 ram air version. i want to keep it as a summer weekend car and own it for a long time. looking to spend about $10k and want low miles and manual.

what questions and things should i be looking for when talking to prosepective sellers? any known issues/problems with these cars? Thanks
