hey everyone im new to the site, i live in Chicago and i have a white trans am ws6 with about 36k miles on her. MTI intake, SLP catback and a short shifter

looks good buddy, it's good to see someone else on here with an arctic white t.a. not easy to find in that good of shape besides ours!! welcome!
2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust,shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

well i have the same an im looking to get some headers an i dont know if i should get SLP. i dont want it to be really loud when its idling or if im just cruising around

dont get SLP long tubes. They have major ground clearance issues. Pacesetters seem to be the popular bang for the buck LT but if price isnt an issue check out Kooks and other stainless steel ones. Go over to the External engine section and read up in there.
BTW i have stock manifolds and SLP Loud Mouth II catback. I like the way it sounds now but i head with Long tubes it gets raspy. I guess ill just have to found out for myself.

ceramic coating is definately worth it, looks good, protects and can cut down on the amount of heat in the engine bay.
