    2000 trans am

    new noise

    new noise on my 2000 ws6 it almost sounds like a metal fan blade hitting the shroud if my car had one. at first I thought it was my cat but it doesn't do it when the car is in neutral which makes me think its the tranny { auto) the sound gets quicker and louder as u exselarate it gets a little quitter when it shifts from 1st to 2nd and even more when 2nd to 3rd.. any ideas

    Does it make any noise when you're stopped?
    Guessing it sound like it's coming from underneath, maybe driveshaft related
