    Question New Engine

    I own a 2002 WS6 LS1 car 6 speed, I will be looking to purchase a new engine in a few years, how hard would it be too adapt a LS2 or LS6,LS7 in my car if I buy a crate engine from GM? Will my electronics work with the new engine? Also would the engine mounts and exhaust all hook up? stock setup.
    I am looking for more performance without loosing any of it's great street manners. My engine has 86,000 miles on it and I hope to at least get 130,000 out of it before I change engines. Is there any online documents for this type of conversion?

    Thanks.

    ive seen a camaro with an ls7 on gm high tech performance they said it bolted up to the factory motor mounts and accesories but they had to move the battery to the trunk to make room for the oil tank and 3rd gen electronics wont work with it you would need electronic gas pedal for the electronic throttle and custom gauges check this out

    ls7=more work

    I want a ls7 also but there are some problems you cant use factory gauge cluster and need to relocate battery to trunk to make room for oil tank and need an electronic gas pedal for the electronic throttle but as far as that goes it tells you about that with pictures on gm high tech perfomance
