New '99 gets nearly $40,000 on ebay...

Just checked the listings on ebay and a NEW 1999 CE brought in nearly $40,000. That's pretty impressive! (check 'completed listings'). There is also another one that the seller is asking $125,000.00 for. I think they believe the year is 2036, thirty years from now when it might command that money, but not yet
On that note, always appreciate the F-body rides you have. We are very fortunate, even with high gas prices and ridiculous insurance policies. I lived through the muscle car era of the 60's and this is every bit as good with GTO's and hot Mustangs out there, and Dodge Challengers around the corner! 30 years from now there will probably be NO V8's on the market. Hell, there might not even be any gasoline then.

Did you see the question that were asked to the seller.
"If I would buy this car, how hard would it be for me to remove the decals on this car without hurting the paint? Also, could the wheels be chrome dipped?..."
Why not have the decals and the wheel are chromed.

'Tire-kickers' ask the dumbest questions and sometimes you wonder if it is done on purpose.
I did like the answer though.

I agree... WTF kind of questions are those. It is in MINT condition, a 99 Anniversary. The guy kept it sealed for 7 years and all the stupid fooks want to do is buy it and deface it. Keep it all original and clean. I hope the guy that did buy it sticks it in a climate controlled garage along with some other mint Pontiacs. That car is immaculate.
