    HI..im new to this site, and i just bought a 2000 Trans Am and was wondering what good, cheep perfomance parts i should lookin to and where i should look for them, and any other information would be greatly appreciated..Thanks!

    welcome to the site, basics on these cars are cold air intake (volant or SLP are common ones) pacesetter ceramic coated headers for some good cheap headers though i suggest stainless steal, exhaust such as magnaflow and some subframe connectors with a tune and you should be putting down around 345 RWHP

    welcome....get a lid its about $90, pacesetter LT headers for about $500, you will really feel the car wake up with the headers! do you have a m6 or a4

    oh, and if you have an auto, a stall converter might be the best thing to get first.

    what kinda of free mods are you talking about? and what are stickies? i am totaly new to this, sorry but your going to have to explain everything out to me..lol, and where/what are the best Lids to buy?

    ^ in each section, there are threads called stickies. they are threads that have a lot of information on a common problem/question. notice in the firebird section there are 5 threads with the word sticky in front of their names in red. these will always be on top and are very informative.

    and for the lids, they all are the same performance wise so get the cheapest or best looking one. they can be bought at most of our sponser's sites.

    Incase you have not realized this (hope I'm not the only one who took a while to figure this one out.) you can click on the ls1 letters on the bottom as well as the four cars on the left.

    I was on this site for a month before I foud that one out.
