Need To See Old Style Chrome Cragars ( 5 Spoke ) on your WS6

Somewhere in the past there was a picture of a WS6 with the 5 Spoke Cragars in chrome.
I think I liked them but would like a second look before purchase.
    Thanks.

There is someone on here with a red Z with the RS package that I have seen with them but again this is on a Camaro and not T/A.

Those are torque thrust wheels in that pic. Very different from original cragars, although they capture the theme.

Not sure why anyone would be against it unless they are youngins that didn't live in the day when these wheels were on just about everything from pro stockers to street cars.
You can stick these wheels on a mini van and they would look good. Actually I've seen them on vans in the 60's and early to mid 70's. Classic look that has never went out of style.

Yep, great picture. Yes I think those are Torque Thrusts and I think they look great. Like Firebirdjones said, you gotta have a few years under your belt to remember them. Hopefully I'll have a set on next spring and I'll pin the picture up for everyone's entertainment. What ever floats your boat !

They have been reproducing them from 14's on up to at least 18's for a few years now. I think they would look great on any 4th gen. Refreshing actually. Tired of seeing all the blingy stuff on these cars.

You're right about the Torque Thrust wheels. The Cragars he is looking for are the 60's and 70's classic " SS ". 40 years ago every musclecar had either Cragar SS or Keystone mags. Looks like what was once old is new again.

Cragars and Keystones are both timeless classics. I am leaning towards a set of Cragars for both my '66 and '67 in lieu of stock reproductions. Wheels make or break a car imo and way too many people go with oversized bling rims these days that just look plain stupid.

well the pic was labeled as cragers so i went with it, but yes I do know what your talking about a buddy has a set on his 73 cuda. Are you wanting a set in 15" or? cause crager has the 17" classic ss on their site :: CRAGAR WHEELS :: Wheels ::

Edit: sorry didn't see Firebird said something about them still making them up to 18's

I think you can get Cragar SS mags in 17 and 18" now, you just have to look for them and make sure you get the back spacing correct and check for caliper clearence. Good lck and plaese send some pictures. I just may put a set on my SS.

Exactly!! I'm so tired of the oversized blingy stuff, and it looks horrible on a classic in my opinion.

I really dig the "day two" cars that look nearly stock with a few speed parts, and a set of cragars but with the reproduction polyglass goodyears back in place to keep the classic appearance. Timeless.

I know I'm beating this thread like a pup seal but please give me a set of new Continental Extremes with the old style thin Tiger Paw red line ! (be still my little heart)

I am also a big fan of steelies with dog dish hub caps. Nothing says "business" like a set of those bolted onto some classic iron.
