Need opinions..Just Curious
I'd like to ask anyone's opinion. I'm looking to buy Torq Thurst wheels and new tires, but before I do, I need to know weather there is a demand for Stock T/A Chrome Wheels. I've been a member long enough here, but do not have the required posts to put something up for sale. I'm in no way doing that here. But before I go and spend the money, I would like to know if they are sellable? If there is a market for these.
If my post goes against any LS1.com policy.....PLEASE delete it.

I sold mine to another member here last year. I can't say there is a high demand but you can sell them. I've seen several Firebird (V6) guys look for them to upgrade from their ugly wheels.
Price it right & have patience and they will sell.

I think you only need 3 months membership and 100 posts to sell. I should know this being a site moderator lol.
If you don't get rid of them by the time you qualify per the requirements above, post pics and a "For Sale" thread here. They'll move, eventually.
Can also try other forum sites, eBay and Craigslist.Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

I just sold my 17x9's to another member. If you can sell them locally the buyer will save money on shipping so you might get a few more dollars for the wheels.

I purchased a spare set of Speedlines from another member a few years ago. Just thought it'd be a good idea to have a spare set. I'm sure that someone out there wants a set.

Thanks everyone. This seems to be on hold right now. The "warden" won't let me put up the 1,300.00 first, Knowing that I might not even re-coup half of what I'll spend. I truly thought these in MINT condition would sell for more. Look like we will have to wait a little longer.

UPDATE
Looks like I don't have to wait any longer. Struck a great deal for my wheels and tires. I let the wife spend a little on what she wanted and in return I got what I wanted.
Went with Torq Thust M (chrome) - 17X10(Rear) 17X9(Front) on 275/45ZR/17
All of this for $1,200.00
Will try to sell my stock chrome T/A wheels and tires in the hopes of getting a little of what I spent
Thanks again for everyone's help

Bribery of the wife works most of the time for me, otherwise I just ask for forgiveness after I get it

Well, we did it. Got new wheels and tires today. I was kinda wondering why they dropped the price from 1369.00 to 1193.00. didn't find out till I got there. To keep my cost down, without telling me, they changed my wheel and tire size. 17X9 all the way around and put 255/45ZR/17's instead of the 275's we talked about. Not that I'm upset, but they could have let me make that decision, I might have waited a week or so to get the full 1369.00. Will post pics tomorrow.

After a week, I've decided to change my tire size. I wasn't happy with what they gave me so.....As much as I love the Hankook tire, they don't make the size I want. I think most will agree out here that Nitto's are the way to go. I will be going with a Nitto 255/50ZR/17. I wanted the 275/40ZR but was told they might not have the clearance up front.

I should have known that. After they changed my original order. Seems they truly don't know their job. Well, we WILL be making another change today.
