I have had my KYB's for over a year and they work great and have have used them on my 93 5.0 and a few turbo and na imports for yrs. I'll agree that koni makes a better shock but I am happy with the KYB's and had money left for sway bars. also screw bilstein's I had them on my Camaro I had and on my Trailblazer, door the Camaro but I ended up getting some Monroe's for my TB and the ride is way better.

The ride quality on my TB was much better. I have had a lot of good luck with KYB also for.more sport and muscle cars. Although I had the higher end Monroe think they were reflex or sensation trac's in a 5.0 with stock slings and they are great but I use KYB on my lowered cars whether it's eibach on my old Mustang, imports so I figured after seeing them on my friends SS with Strano slings I figured I try them and they have been great and love the fact I can adjust a soft ride for regular cruising or stiffen it up for the backroads. I run staggered 18's with BFG NT'S and it hits the turns well at high speed with good balance.

They came with the car and were paired with Eibach Sportlines. To tell you the truth the ride absolutely sucks. They might have been better when they were new, but i'm sure the eibach springs didn't help. Swapped the rears for Stranos and it softened it up a little but i'm saving my money for konis. My advice would be to get at least Bilstein shocks, people seem pretty happy with em. I just dont want to do them again ever so i'm going Koni.

Hope thats what you wanted to hear

Yeah the sportlines im gathering are not a great ride quality spring. Bilstien is definatly been ones ive been considering. I came across the tokicos on ebay and they were 400 with some lowering springs, either with springtech or vogtlands. wondering how those are.
