car looks great man! my hood for the '98 is at the paint shop right now. should have it back by tuesday. then i can finally post updated pics of the car!!!

OP, i have the LT1 Eibach pro-kit on my SS. i went that route because the LT1 pro-kit has higher spring rates than the LS1 pro-kit. sits on stock shocks and it looks great. i have a set of Ls1 Eibach Sportlines than im thinking about selling. 4000 miles on them, red in color...$150 + shipping

SO very much better now. Strano's and Koni's.
    Worth any wait.
Dan's car is pretty much the exact same as mine suspension wise.

I think Koni's are really the only shock out there that can handle the higher spring rates aftermarket springs give.

I have the BMR springs with KYB AGX's and my friend has a 2000SS with Strano's and there isn't too much of a difference in look. Ride is similar but I have never been in his driving hard like through the backroads so I can't comment on handling. Koni's are the best if you can afford the but I needed some ASAP and $360 for all 4 was alot easier to come up with. I like the handling and ride just took a few trial runs to find a good cruising setting and what setting worked best when pushing it to the max on the backroads. I have 18's but here's a couple pics.
    Stock with the 18's

Sorry haven't painted the axle just waiting to upgrade.

lol Dom!, is'nt comparing 2nd gens to 4th gens like comparing a draft horse to a quarter horse??.. jk Stay away from KYB anything for it.. I use them on puller cars with good results.. Tried them on my Camaro and was pulling them right back off later.. Too soft of a dampening rate and the car would bounce..

Yeah but @ 1000 bucks you'll prolly only ever have to buy them once tho.. Whereas you'll prolly be replacing lesser ones over and over.. Especially with many hard launches on them.. Good luck in the hunt bro..
