Your probably going to hear this alot... but there is a reason you will. Strano springs/Koni shocks. Alot of people have them. I've heard they not only give a great stance, but they are the best performing combo you can get. I'm waiting til I can afford both to do them at the same time

I wanted to lower my car too. I purchased the Eibach Pro Kit and installed it on my car (pretty easy install). However when all was said and done it lowered it so far I could not fit the Jack back under the car behind the front driver wheel to even jack it back up. I drove it around the block once and it destroyed the bump stops in the rear. I proceeded to uninstall the springs and put the factory back on, have not attempted it with another set of springs yet.
My combo was the Eibach Pro Kit and the KYB AGX shocks (even turned shocks up to 8). Advertised to lower the car 1 - 1 1/2" but it seemed more like 2 1/2 - 3" when I was done. Maybe I did something wrong, but I called Eibach and made sure I had the right springs and installed correctly and they said yes.
Hope you find a good combo, when you are done send me a picture of before and after in case I want to try it again.

Yeah, I did the install before I ever knew about this site. Now my process of doing improvements to my TA are as follows:
1) Think about what I want to do.
2) Post it on LS1.com and get feedback or do a search and read prior post of those that did the same thing.
3) Take collected information and make and educated decision.
This process has saved me many headaches.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Loved the ProKit stance.....HATED the ride and performance.
SO very much better now. Strano's and Koni's.
Worth any wait.
Dan's car is pretty much the exact same as mine suspension wise.
