NEED HELP: Think I threw a rod

I was at the track made a few passes and left, everything was fine then I came to a red light then a loud knocking started and got faster as I accelerated. The car idles fine but when you accelerate, kinda has like a miss in it. I know I will need a mechanical rebuild so I want to know the parts and brans to buy. PLEASE give me feedback. thanks

When I threw a rod on my formula the car wouldnt even idle. It thrashed like you would not believe and ended up cracking the block. I dont know a lot about these LS1's but I dont think you have a rod bad. I am sure others will jump in shortly. AllI can tell you my own expererence.

mine did that when I broke a piston but mine knocked at all rpms just faster with more rpms
