Sweet deal! For the whole situation i think 10k is a very good price. The car looks flawless! I am pretty jealous lol. I have a black one and youre right it is a pain in the ass to keep clean. I think your first mod or mods should be some shocks/springs and some new wheels!
SLP Lid, TSP 233/239 112lsa with supporting mods, Pacesetter Headers and ORY, Magnaflow muffler, MSD Spark plug wires, Sportlines, HAL QA1 Adjustable Rear Shocks, BMR Adjustable torque arm, BMR Lower control arms, Monster Level 4 Clutch, 6K HIDs Lows and Fogs. NICE CAR and no way thats a great price for a true WS6. I got my 98 TA for 10000 in 06 and its still worth abuot 9000 acordding to KBB.

Probably not as bad as you think, and you might have taken him. GTOs are ~400 lbs heavier. Depends on where your engine would be on the kickdown.

Get a stall, a lid, and subframe connectors.

Great looking car. And I can attest that black ones are hard to keep clean!

It will be garage kept all the time whenever I am not driving it, so it should keep very nice.

Ya, thats exactly what I thought when I saw it. And when I talked him down to $10k, I thought I better not let it get away from me because I probably wouldn't find another one like this for the price.

Ya, I am going to have to go down to Thunder Valley when it opens back up. I need to get a few timeslips before I start doing any modding. My last 1/4 mile run there was in the '98 v6 mustang.... 16.9 seconds = FAIL compared to what this will do.

    Thanks Mudstain.

98maro, I definitely like the tinted windows, the only drawback is backing up at night... but simple fix to that is just rolling down the windows. Definitely a sacrifice I can make for those awesome tinted windows during the day.

being an auto i would suspect 13.2-13.4 depending on your launch. i broke into the high 12's with slicks and exhaust only.

I'm thinking low 13s with an auto would need a stall. Could be wrong tho.
