My ma was a bad ass before she had me

So we were going through a few old photo albums when we came across some of the pictures from before she had me, I'm no 21 almost 22 years old and I never really believed her when she made these claims. Well these pictures were taken at her dad's house sometime in the 80's (not sure). I've been seeing these now and then photos and was at my grandpas house recently so I decided to give it a shot. granted my gf was in a hurry theyre not the best attempts but I thought it was cool.

I don't have a current picture of my car. I will try to get one up tomorrow.

My auntie on my moms side also got around in a 55 bel air and a 69 hugger orange SS..

My uncle has had a 69 Charger RT, 70 chevelle SS LS6, Vega lol, and currently owns a 69 Z28 and a 69 chevelle SS 396.
    these are them.

the chevelle is in progress still, original paint code calls for daytona yellow

Very cool OP, I kind of found out all the same about my family. I have baby pictures of me sitting on my dad's old 78' TA 400. And my mom grew up on stick driving, was a super tomboy, and although never owned a nice (by my opinion) car herself, had friends that owned camaros/chevelles/stangs/firebirds throughout highschool and what not. Apparently the guy who had the chevelle had his done up all crazy, and ended up paying for it in a crash =/. None the less, she was surounded by it and has it in her blood I guess :P.

    That is awesome!

My dad bought my mom a brand new 1981 TA w/turbo when I was 2. Have lots of pics of her and me in it.

I think from time to time she thinks her Jetta is that old TA. Makes me want to cover my eyes.

Haha, I meant been in a position where someone was driving, thinking their car was something they used to have or something they want. Ya know, like all the civics on the road? Just for an example. Haha, sorry for the clarity issue in my response.

    lol no problem.

Just surprises me how many other mothers out there enjoy their own hot rods. Much more mainstream now though.
