Get another T/A or a Vette. LS2 GTO only if you find an incredible deal.

Just reading about this now. Sorry to hear it. Question though.... I'm curious to know if your insurance is going to cover you with comparable replacement value for a new one. We all know how the insurance co's like to low ball pay out figures and that they may pay only based upon blue book value etc....

Please update us on what road they take with you. I'm always concerned that if I ever had total loss on mine that I'd never get a pay out from insurance close to what I paid for the car. And here in MA we can't pay for additional value coverage above the book. I would have to have it appraised yearly if I think that the book value is not going to cover replacement cost. Might get it done to see what the appraised value comes in at. Nice huh?

With my 79 Vette I had to get it appraised and the insurance company came to look at it take pics for proof it was worth more than the 5K value they pulled out of their asses. When my wifes car was totaled they tried giving us trade in value for it until I went ape shit on their ass then they came back with fair market value which was still low. I don't remember the exact numbers though.

Yeah, that's what I was concerned about. I was also going to look at completed sales of comp vehicle on eBay and print those out and save them. They might help make my case of value to the ins. co in case of a loss. Sometimes with some of those low mileage cars that sell the price is very close to what I'd be looking for if I were to have a loss today.

I will send you a PM as well.

I passed on the Silver car I was looking at in favor of a CE. But my pass is your gain!!

The car is located at Family Buick in Indy. 317-357-8611, talk to Al Kline, he was the guy I was working with and told him I would send you.

Car is Silver, has 32K miles, M6 newer rubber. I think it can be had for 17K. The ad says a different dealer, but it is at Family Buick the other place closed shop and Family took their inventory. No major incidents on carfax, I can send it to you if needed.
