my back hurts.... good seat ideas for my ws6?
So I had to did my car for two weeks and now my back hurts go figure. So anyone have experience on gto seats in an fbody car? Or any other seats that are more comfortable to ride long distances in these cars? I was looking at after market but really like the gto looks better. Thanks for the help.

Blackened fire chicken- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
When i had a 83 Z28 i was able to fit seats (front and back) from a '93-'94 Z28 (barely), so you might have some luck fitting the goat seats in the Trans am.The aftermarket seats ive seen look like they are pretty comfortable, but im pretty sure you need to buy the brackets for them to mount properly.

2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
They used to be sold by 6LE, but I think they have since stopped. They're sold by Yonaka Motorsports (Google is your friend). You'll need to buy the brackets that allow them to be bolted into an F-body from 6LiterEater. Also, my wife has wide hips and fits in them fine.

^^ Yeah the side bolsters should keep you from shifting from side to side. Any pics?

Yes they did help a ton I take corners now like the car was meant to! Its unbelievable how much a seat helps I also think it added seat of the pants power feels like +25 rwhp lol. But no pictures yet I was out all day getting a new tattoo and still need to figure out a remedy for the seat belt cutting my throat when I drive. I'll get some up tomorrow hopefully.

I'm surprised, the TA seats are some of the most comfortable I've sat in, and don't they generally come with adjustable lumbar support? All of them I've seen had that and were 10 times better than the camaro seats that we have had all these years.
Matter of fact, I find the camaro seats pretty darn comfortable, around town and long trips, and I'm an old man
I think you guys need to drive around classic cars for a while with flat bench seats and then jump in your cushy 4th gen, you'll find just how comfy it really is

Agree. Nice looking seats. How does the shoulder belt feel coming through the seat like that?

Thanks I love em like crazy I literally installed them at 10pm in my drive way lol easy peasy. I'm trying to figure a better way to fasten the seat belts cause I'm a little tall so the belt is tight but its way better than just letting it hang down. I wish the seat belt came from the side and not the roof of the cat it'd make this way easier lol.

A rollbar would solve that dilemma pretty quickly.
