Monsoon speakers

HI EVERYONE!..
OK, NEED SOME ADVICE HERE... i have a speaker crackling in the rear driver side of my car,.. as you know the speakers are the monsoon speakers, i want to replace them, with the same ones which i found online
however, i dont want the same thing to happen again, has anyone replaced theres with the same kind, at had any luck? or did they start crackling all over again???????

i had a local sound shop replace the surround on one of mine that did the same thing. Sounds better and tighter than it did before the surround originally split. Only charged me like $20 and he realigned the voice coil also. He currently has the one from the other side doing it the same way. Might want to check into going that route...just a suggestion.

I ordered some new monsoons(gm partsdirect I think) for the rear and the front and replaced all 4. Haven't bothered with the hatch speakers. they sound as good as new and no problems. hell it took around 8yrs for the 1st set to go bad if these last 4 or 5 i'll be happy.

Yeah I had both doors blown and one of the sailpanel subs also.
I got new replacements and was told they were of better quality then the originals. Did it last year but can't remember where I got them from, the price was around $200 for all 4.
