    Mods for a TA?

Hey, I know this is probably already posted somewhere, Im just too lazy to look that hard.. Im looking for some quick ez mods with maximum results.
    I already have the following
    Corsa Exhaust
    Throttle body Bypass
    Crane Ams Power Progammer
SLP Air Lid + K&N Air Filter

What else can I do for some quick HP?

Also..My second question, with all of these mods on my WS6, what would be my estimated HP? My town is too poor to have a dyno, ha ha
    Thanks

Get an aftermarket y-pipe for stock manifolds, that Throttle Bypass doesn't really do much at all for you, what adjustments did you make with the power programmer, (laptop tuning is much better), My rough educated guess with what you have done so far, is probably a gain of 20-30 over stock at the motor, and about 15-18 at the wheels.

I didnt really make many adjustments with the programmer, just the yes or no answers, I didnt change my spark or anythin because it said it can cause damage and I dont know a hell of a lot about cars.

What is this LapTop Tunning about? where can I get a y pipe that will fit the stock manifolds? What would I need to do this?

a aftermarkey y pipe minus headers is useless unless you want the car louder.
there are laptop programs called ls1edit and hp tuners for ls1 cars.

long tube headers and a off road pipe is a good 25-30 rwhp gain.

theres a few things that are cheap for LS1s but not many. invest in a LS6 intake manifold, LTs with ORY, and a cam...easy HP but not so cheap. but as we all know, money buys speed.

    1. cut EGR tube in upper intake
    2. punch out your MAF screen
    3. port and polish your TB, if you can borrow a dremel tool
    4. remove the radiator shroud and cut the crap under your lid to let more air under the lid. (its the back half (engine side) of the plastic thing under your airfilter/lid

    total cost $0.00

If it doesn't have a turbo or a V8, it doesn't belong on the road.

Hey guys look it came back from the shop! I still need a bigger wing though...

Dude explain what "cheap" is to you. How much $$$ do you have to spend, and that will make this topic a little bit easier to tackle. There are a ton of guys on here who can help, but you aren't giving us much now are you?

Don't forget about the good old "Fernco Mod" instead of the smooth air bellows you can go to Home Depot and get a fernco part for a toilet and use it between the TB and the MAF. I want to say I used the 3" to 4" one. Check around...trust me, it doesn't even look out of place...you just have to get over having a part for a toilet on your car.
