start with an intake. A short throw shifter...here is a site that has all of the performace parts that you will ever need

    ws6store.com

The guy who owns it is really cool, and he will give you a discount if you mention that you are part of this site. Hope this helps.

hey man i have a lt1 car the first things you can do for cheap are this. 160 thermostat $12, Throttle Body bypass(free), buy a hypertech computer tuner used, you will notice a very big difference. i might sell you mine for 150 i wont need it after next week cause i will be getting a dyno tune. before you spend a penny you need to look at this site and be your own judge.
www.ws6.com/mycar.htm this guy dyno tests every mod he buys and tells you an average of how much hp you get per dollar for each one. very very usefull. it will save you from buying things that wont help you much.

Yeah man, I was looking online for the kind you have and they are $350+, so $150 is a nice price. I also noticed though that on the websites, it lists particular year models, i.e. 95, 97 etc etc, so will yours being for a 97 still work on mine?

yeah the one i have is a hypertech power programmer plus. i bought if from a guy that has a 95 red formula which is funny cause so do you. he didnt need it anymore cause he took the computer out of his car and carbeurated it. it is easy to use but will be useless to me since i will be taking the tune out of my car for my long awaited dyno and dyno tune. i drove my car for 3 weeks before i bought the hypertech and i seriously couldnt imagine driving without it. its a cheap route for 18 to 23 hp and equal torque. if you want to buy it email me your phone # and i will call you and let you know when i set up my dyno. eischdawg@hotmail.com
