Have you ever notice the fourth gens around here look like they have been beat to hell. Noticed that today. You could always go to paper moon and throw dollar bills at the dancers.

Most 4th gens look like they have been beaten on. Very few people take care of them properly.

dude, i'm in the same boat... i have been through 5 cars since i sold my formula in 2003.. i even bought a 2002 Ws6 in the wrong color and with too many miles to try and "fix" the issue. i know now that i need to buckle down and find the ONE car that i plan to keep for a long time... needs to be the right color and have low miles. it's killing me because the wife and i need to spend our cash for a downpayment on a house so i'm going to need to wait longer.... it hurts.

I know about waiting. I wanted to get a nice Formula for a LOOONG time. I purchased mine 2 years ago at 45. I had a 1987 for 5 years but have alot to do, so my time is valuable. I wanted something I could jump in and drive. The good thing is, with the kids all gone I can afford to have someone else do it. Also, I take care of alot of problems to keep my car in A1 shape so I can take off to Virginia Beach or NC and know its in top shape, unlike the 87. Be patient, family is more important then any car. I thought I was pretty hip for years riding around in my Dodge Caravan.

I've been resisting the minivan thing for years now. So glad we only have 2 kids, and they still fit in Too Fast!
