    The motor is strong as new. ( hope I didn't just screw myself ) No oil burning, no leaks and never any pison slap in this motor. Still stays clean under the hood. @ about 125k I changed the shocks, springs with a Bilstein kit and it handles better than when it was new. Added some drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads and couldnt believe the differance. Rear end just started making a little noise in slow turns. Trans is still holding good enough for a 13.22 quarter @ 103.4. I drive this car very hard @ least three times a week. ( over 150mph, Nothing like 26 miles of elevated interstate, I-55). Thats saying that GM did their homework on these LS1's.

    Very little, clutch at 190K, serpentine belt, plugs and wires at 190K, that is about it! I figure she is just going to blow-up in a big puff of smoke one day. Until then, I'm having fun!

    Oh, the 3rd gen has 59,500 or so. It will turn over 60K one of these days...... I just drove it today actually.
