    The Mecham hood

I am looking into the Mecham hood. I think it will be different, but I can only see it in the pictures off the web site. Does anyone have any to post?

I dont think it is ugly by any means, but its all in how you see it. Most people like it, I have never had anyone in person tell me that I should have got a WS6 hood over my Mecham. I like the way it looks and it is so much more agressive than the regular WS6 hood. The fitment is good and it is functional. Its also something that you dont see everyday, just dont go and get stupid with it and have it painted mutiple colors and it will look great.

I like the design myself, but I have heard for numerous years that Dennis Mecham needs to improve his quality of his products. Many fitment issues and poor materials used in the construction. I have read where some have had to pay much more money just to correct issues with it.

+1. I always liked the look as it's unique and still flows good with our body lines. Post up some pics of your ride for op (and us) to see.

It would be cool if it was a special stock hood. But I will always love the regular WS6 hood or WS9 better.

It does draw alot of attention. I think that the first time I drove though town with it evey Mustang in the county was out to get me. And the Police notice it more now too...

I havent had any cracks or warping on my hood, the only problem I have with it is the piss poor job that the body shop did of painting it.

Sometime I plan on putting red leds in the extractors and the nostril opeinings, I think it would look killer.

I like it a lot, if I didn't get my U.S. Exotics WS9 hood then i'd probably get that one.

I've seen one in person and it looked like total shit. Doesn't fit for a dammn and looked like the hood was always popped open at the front.
