    max tire size for 99 Trans Am

    what is the biggest size tire that can fit on a 99 trans am. I currently have 245/50ZR16s. I want to upgrade to bigger rims and tires all around(both front and rear same size). I am looking at American Racing Torq Thrust IIs. I want either a 17 or 18 inch rim with the biggest tires that can fit on the trans am. I am also looking into a suspension drop. If i do drop the car is there a certain tire/rim size that will interfere with the lowered stance?

    thanks. Those wheels look really good. is your suspension stock? do you know if there are certain aftermarket suspension kits that are too low/interfere with wheels this big?
