Make window go down quicker on 98 T/A

The windows on these cars roll down at an unbelievebly slow rate. I was wondering how I could make them roll down quicker.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

    remove the door panel,

    unscrew "roll-down mechanism"

gently slide window out of place

raise glass above head and throw while screaming "I HATE OEM PARTS!!!!"

there, it went down faster =)

I just replaced my drivers side motor and it is a lot faster than my passenger side. Sounds like new motor time.

You can get the window motors at Auto Zone.
They are made by Seimens and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
    Cost varies between $60-$70.

I put fresh grease on the window tracks of my 94 firebird and it helped out ALOT. The factory grease felt more like glue. I'm gonna do the same thing to the 02 T/A I just bought because they do go up incredibly slow and make cranking noises. They go up slower if you turn the car off so I think a good battery would also probably make a difference. I still have the original AC Delco.
