Major differences?
I own a 2000 trans am and it doesn't have the ls6 intake. Is there that much of a difference between my stock intake and an LS6 intake? How much horsepower difference it there and is it really worth upgrading? And is it easy to do?
2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust,shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

Red- 2000 Trans Am
I hear about 15 hp on a stock motor. And it will allow you to make more as you add mods.

I was reading some tech articles on the High Performance Pontiac site, and there were a few articles that mentioned this. They did it to 2 '99 T/A's. One car gained 7RWHP with it, and another car that had the SLP 375 package installed gained 17RWHP.
Seems like alot of money for 7hp, but if you have other mods, getting 17hp seems more worthwile.
