    madman vs BMR manual steering

Im about to order a manual steering rack, which one is easier to install and drive with, or if you know of another brand that is easy to work with let me know. also i will be driving with the stock tires up front for a little bit until i find some skinnies.... i have driven my car without power steering before (pump went out), it wasnt to bad when i was rolling but parking did kind of suck. will it be as hard?

this may sound like a stupid question but why go to manual steering in the first place?

Remember you having this problem a while ago, too bad it never got fully fixed.
As far as manual racks, heard both to be good kits. The madman kit requires a little tab to be welded to the kmember but its not that bad. The BMR one is a direct bolt in. Should be happy with either one

The whole PS pump over the alternator is a crappy setup. I might look into making a plate to cover the alternator in case it happens to me. Heard of this happening too many times. Hope you get it sorted out.

I'll try and get a better look at it later, it would be good insurance to have. Either that or get the alternator mounted like the vettes, but that looks ugly imo.
