I wouldn't say high 13's is "generous" a bad driver would pull in high 13s to low 14s, but they are easily a mid 13s car

Mach's where only made in 03-04. They made close to 320 hp and run low 13's with a good driver but are mid-high 13's with an okay driver.
In other words it's a drivers race for an LS1 F-body.

i dont know why it posted 3 times... anyway I guess I am asking what the difference between a gt and a mach1 is besides the obvious ram-air scoop

The mach one is basically a cobra without a supercharger. Its a DOHC 4.6, with the shaker hood scoop.

An 03-04 Mach is bassically a 99/01 Cobra with a live rear axel instead of an IRS. And the Mach has a diffrent cam to give it more low end torque. Machs also have 3.55 gears instead of 3.27s.
EDIT: Machs are rated at 305hp and I think 315 ft/lbs, but put out closer to 315-320 and 330.

And a lot of Ford owners were really ticked with the 305hp number because it was STILL over-rated

lol.. I have to side with the mustang guys on this one. I had a buddy with a mach 1 who ran 13.3's all day on street tires. Gutted the cats, did an X pipe and threw some 4.10's I think in it.. on drag radias he ran a 12.78.

Well i did race an 03 mach 1 and i was stock (at the time) and from the dig we both spun a bit (i was very inexperienced with drag raing them also) and when we both did grab my WS6 pulled and pulled...Not by much but i was always inching away from him and we were both M6... Guess it "might" be a drivers race but i won but a full car length and a 1/4 so it could be the drivers but i still think the LS1 is stronger and more powerful then the dialed down cobra replica...

I have a A4 T/A with every option and I weigh 235 and with just a k&n on a 90deg day I ran 13.3. On the same day I did race a Blue Mach 1, I dont know what he had done to the car but I have the time slip.

I've ran an 01 Z28 A4 side by side , both stock. I'm talking about as even as you could want.

Yeah, I am having a little trouble being sold on a 13.3, but after reading the motortrend test drive, and checking out some dyno results on some Ford sites these cars perform well in the right hands. They weigh the same as an F-body and put down 265 to 270rwhp stock.
