    Stalled A4 = M6 for street driving.

Stock for stock in a car not used for drag....M6.

if you dont mind dd'in in a stick then get an m6. I dont have an m6 and wish mine was.. To me its just all around more fun, you have complete control and there is nothing like runnin through the gears and nailing shifts at WOT. Some people complain about traffic but i never really minded it.

I would go with the A4, had a 98 Formula with an M6-the worst thing I ever drove.

    A4.
in an A4 you can have one hand on the wheel, a beer in the other and getting road head from some hottie.
to me thats more fun than having some "control" over the gears.

Agreed! Plus, with a stall put in, you're at no disadvantage in comparison to a M6

I have had both. I had a 99 SS with an M6 and loved it at first, but then it got old fast. I got rid of it (one month later) and got a 02 TA A4. Although...it now has a Yank 3600 stall and many other mods.

If you don't plan on upgrading much and it's going to be a daily driver, then I would go with the A4. But like another post already said, it's all personal preference. Do you like shifting gears? If you do, the M6 is the only way to go. If you could take it or leave it...go A4.

One thing I would suggest, if you are taller than 6 foot, I would go with the A4. There is a bit more leg room (because of the lack of a clutch pedal). I'm 6'5 and that was one of the main reasons I got rid of my M6 Camaro SS. I just feel more comfortable in an auto.

Either way, you'll have a great car and both are fun as hell to drive.

I had 2 M6's and had problems with both with the synchros and shift forks. Been pretty happy with the A-4 I have now after the rebuild.

i have a shift kit and my shift points programmed into my pcm, no one can shift as fast and consistant as my car, not being arrogant at all, but its pretty crazy watching it. i know the auto robs H/P, but you can make up for it with a procharger
