    LSX Intake Question

I am currently putting close to 385 HP to the wheels with the following mods
    Long Tube Headers
    Y Pipe
    Flowmaster
    Mild Comp Cam
    Whisper Lid
    Ported MAF
    K&N
    All the Free Mods
    Dyno Tuned

My question is this. I'm having a LSX 90mm intake and 90mm Throttle body installed. What kind of HP gains should i expect?

You'll see a considerable gain from the intake manifold since you have a cam. I would say more then 20. I remember reading some where a guy installed a ls6 intake manifold on his cammed car and he gained up to 30 hp. Where when you install a ls6 intake manifold on a non cammed car you only see a gain of about 8-10.

i dont see you getting much gains.
if you had a hot cam with aftermarket heads or a stroker motor then it would be a good thing.

I woulda went wit the Nick Williams 90mm TB because the flange on the LSX 90mm tends to get stuck open and can be very loose... The Nick Williams piece is better but since you have it already make sure the throttle flange inside the TB is tight so when you pull back on the cable and the flange opens stick your hand in it (obviously before you put it on the car lol) and MAKE SURE the flange CANT be moved.... Just a little note to make sure you dont have problems in the future!!!
