    LS1 swap

    will an 01 Corvette LS1 swap with my 98 Trans Am motor without any problems?

    Well, the Corvette LS1 has 25 more hp than the F-Bodies, but other than that nothing is different.

    yeah, i think oil pans. i'm not sure if the oil pan from a corvette ls1 will fit with the f-bod crossmember. i remember reading that somewhere...

    You will probably need an F-body oil pan, I can't see the Corvette batwing oil pan fitting with the F-body k-member.

    nope...

    the only difference is the oil pans... other than that they are exactly the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    there is no difference in HP numbers...

    correct... when i bought my LS6 crate it came with a Fbod oil pan as well... i forget what i did with the C5 oil pan that was origionally attached to it...
