    LS1 making a bad noise!

    Hey, I am new at this, But I bought a 1998 Trans Am WS.6 its a true WS.6 the Motor has 105K miles on it... It ran real strong until last night, it started making this real loud noise which sounded like a belt sqeaking, well when I popped the hood it was coming from the iside of the motor...well it sounds like it anyways! it honestly sounds like rocks in a tin can! It has oil in it i just changed the oil and everything about 2 weeks ago..

    So I got it towed home and I started it and it idled for like 10 seconds and it sounds still sounds like the belt is sqeaking lol but its coming from the inside of the motor!

    Any help would be thankful!

    Yea but when it first started the noise my engine light flashed like crazy and my car died... and to get it started back I had to give it gas, and i dont have a Catylic converter.
