    LPP True Dual System

Can someone please post a video of their LS1 car that has the LPP True Dual Exhaust System. Also, if you have this system or have heard it, can you tell me what the mufflers sound like in comparission to a chambered muffler like the Sweet Thunders or a single chamber muffler like the Flowmaster Delta 10's. I want to get their headers and true dual system, but don't really want to have to replace the mufflers that come with it.

I have one waiting to be installed, so I don't have any personal experience but I have searched around for information.

Here is a message I got from a member that has the LPP system on his car... from the OTHER forum..

"As far as sound goes it is a very smooth sound at idle, kinda like the borla, when it was closed up. They have a very deep tone to them, but nothing like the bullets that have that loud raspy sound and even my Borla had it when it was open. They do have some drone at about 1200-2000 RPM but so did my LTs, Y, Borla setup. It is not a quite exhaust but not the most obnoxious either. Cruising does have some cabin noise but you can have a conversation. You will have to speak up a little, but not that bad. Seems to have a good muscle car sound, have gotten alot more looks and thumbs up since putting this on than I did with my other setup. Even only after a few drives. WOT is very nice. It is loud but like said before not raspy, just deep and a nice tone."

Its the LPP mufflers that come with their true dual kit, as pictured above. The mufflers are developed by LPP themselves and are not for sale individually.

Hmm. I wonder if these could be easily modified to run over the axle. I have the LPP LT's and Y but I was thinking about going with true duals but i dont like dumps.

Wonder if this would be a good set up to use for that or go with a custom fabbed one.

I'm pretty sure any decent exhaust shop can extend the LPP to the rear, thats the route I'm gonna go! Don't think you can beat about $900 for full 321 stainless steel for long tubes + true duals!

My bad. I watched the video again and scrolled through the pics on the page. Your picture you posted doesnt show the turn downs and the clamps in that video make them look like mufflers.

Woops, just noticed I didn't show the turndowns to well!

The muffler is approximately from a little before the turn downs start(bottom of the picture) to about halfway through that pipe(the pipe ends where that clamp is in between the 2 pipes.)

So the mufflers aren't welded to the x-pipe? If I wanted to switch out mufflers, that wouldn't be a problem? Thanks.
