low numbers?
i recently put my car on the dyno and was a little disapointed with the numbers. i have a 2000 T/A A4 with 111xxx miles on it with pacessetter LT's, ORY, Borla catback, ls6 intake, ported TB, SLP lid, K&N filter, and got a custom tune and ended up with 323rwhp and 331ft-lbs. are these numbers low or was i just expecting to much?

I would say you are right on with those mods.
I have about the same mods as you, but I am a M6 and I put down 330/342 on a Mustang Dyno. I lost a little being I have a Moser 9".
Run it at the track and see what times you are running. Don't get too caught up in the HP/TQ numbers.

those do seem low for those mods...what kind of dyno was it? mustang dyno? dynojet? perhaps the tune isnt correct...maybe consider getting re-tuned....

it was a dynojet. i was thinking the numbers would be alright if it was just the parts, but i was expecting more with the tune.

Just ask the dyno shop what they typically see a stock ls1 run at on their machine.

He is basically a stock 01/02 LS1 with a lid, exhaust and ported TB. I don't see why everyone thinks his numbers should be higher personally. Plus, he is an A4, which will read lower than a M6.

That sounds about right with a A4. Don't worry, in a race you'd win up against an M6 with higher #'s.

I failed to see any track numbers or numbers of relevance. Put a stall in, go run some 12s and faster ETs than cars with higher HP numbers.

Those nnumber sound about right my car was on a dynojet and had a crap dynotune(waste of money) and only hit 339 hp don't remember tq. I know now that we retuned it, like driving another car. Haven't got to the track yet since I need to pickup a hemet. I kow it should be ok even without the stall because after the retune even from a 50 roll my friends M6 with similar mods doesn't pull on me anymore till after 120 and his car is in the 12's. I probably have more hp with the new tune since we leaned it and raised the timing, and for better tyrack times I swaped in some 3.73's and did a retune on the tranny so it shifts at 6100k. Even with no stall the car winds up fast I can't wait for the cam annd 3600stall.

Black- 1999 Formula
i had a 3500 stall in my car n i liked it alot, came along with a stage 2 4l60e trans from performabuilt... and also before my cam was installed my car dyno'd at 317 hp and tq was right around that, that was with LT pacesetters, ORY, slp catback and lid, so ur numbers arent bad. like they said its all about what you run at the track
