I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm down to choosing between those two. I was going to get the Loudmouth I but Ive heard its way too loud with headers and major mod work.

I have the LM2 on mine with ORY and headers. Mine is an M6 though. I really like it. Sometimes it's a bit loud like when I leave for work at 5:30am but other than that I have gotten used to it and really like the rawness of the sound. The Magnaflow will have less rasp. If you dont plan on going with headers and ORY the LM will be perfect. Here is a video clip of my car.

Loud mouth II
I have a 2001 ws6 M6. I put on a new slp Y-pipe with loud mouth. I do still have both Cats. First off, the driver's side of the Y-pipe tube hangs down too low. It is noticably awkward from a distant sideview. I like the sound of loud mouth and so does everyone that hears my car. You will definately be noticed . There interior noise is fairly loud, but not annoying. Me personally, I'm not crazy about the sound at idle. However, I do like the slant cut exhaust tips, just wished they were rolled. Its all an opinion I guess.

Any aftermarket y pipe is going to be visible from the drivers side. No way you can hide it unless you crush the shit out of it like the stock Y, hell you can even see the stock y pipe a little from the side.

Is there any clearance issues with the loudmouth II vs the magnaflow? In the long run I want headers and a Y-Pipe as well. Its my daily driver and I'm going for a setup that will pass smog & wont get me a ticket for being too loud.
