I suggest you read up on it. Plenty of info on here about them. Most people get one in the 3200-3800 range. You'll need a trans cooler also. DD won't be affected that much.

Yeah thanks! I know ive got alot to learn but being that i am 19, i just want the best now! everything is too slow for me! I graduate from college next summer with my bachelors and its still too slow lol! For me its just easier to buy the fastest because im so busy with work and school mixed with all my loved ones and gf its soo hard to find real time to put into the car... i didnt even get to do my homework the day i did my brakes lol!

I wish i could post pics but i guess i need a photo bucket account! im going to try my best to get some up tomorrow.. i still promised a bunch of people that i would get pics of my exhaust lol they did a pretty amazing job but i dont got alot of clearance with the 3in exhaust

I personally wouldn't want to buy someone else's problems...that's just me though. I rather have my own car that I know what was done to it, and by who and when.

Remember, the faster your car is....the more shit that breaks with it...and the more it costs.

i have heard that also and i can agree. if a car is built then you know it was meant for one thing and one thing only. SPEED. but at the same time if the person knows more than i do perhaps they did a better job than i could! its also such a pain to really get into these cars plus im not to much of a mechanic myself =( i can do anything in the cooling system usually but when my friends went to school for automotive mechanics i went into business management

Just to give you some advice on the exhaust backpressure... thats basically an urban myth, your not going to hurt a thing, the less restriction the better the flow making it all more efficient

okay my only concern was my buddy getting tru duals he orginally wanted 3in but they are telling him to go with 2.5 maybe its because of the clearance between the car and the axle but he likes how mine sounds compared to his old exhaust

if he had hp tuners when it was a 10sec car, maybe he has a decent tune on there still, which will net a victory over stock tune anyday.

maybe you can score a pcm from a salvage yard or something to send to frost while you are driving your car.

I think you are getting your hopes up WAY too high on what a tune is going to do for you right now....

You haven't made hardly any modifications to make large gains.

3400 stall, tranny cooler, shift kit, and a tune. then you will pull all similar modded m6 cars every time. that is a guarentee. 3:73 gears and tires afterwards and all that will easily get you more than .5 a second off the 1/4 mile. hell most stalls alone cut off about .5 a second alone.

either that or paint it white. everyone knows red is slower lol
