Looking at getting a second Bird
Well i've realized that i love my bird to much to drive the crap out of it, so i've been looking around to get a second bird that i can kinda beat up. I recently found one on craigslist, but not sure if its a good deal or not. What do you guys think?

Even with less than 80k, seems a little steep for a 97

It says it is a 6 speed, but in the pics it is an automatic.... nice either way, little high though.

2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
If I ever got another F-body for beating on, I'd go with a Twin Turbo V6 Camaro...I couldn't stand having two birds...no variety.

I was thinking of something along that line, but i just couldn't give up my love for birds. There so much more out there then a regular camaro. Dont get me wrong i love camaro's, but i just couldn't do it.
I'm checking out the bird today to see if the car looks as good as the pictures. Hopefully i wont come to find some piece of crap. I'm going to try and get the price lowered, we'll see how that goes. I'll keep you updated as it goes. Thanks for the input!

you can get a 6 speed ls1 for that price, and not from some ghetto corner autosales. I would stay away from that thing if I were you.

Yeah i saw that bird, seemed like a good deal, but like you said it must have problems since its been up for such a long time. Plus i already have a ws6 vert. Reason im looking at this is i want the different body styling. Gives me something different and still good looking. I'll be looking at the car at 4:30 today and see if its worth it.

you can find better deals than that first one. If you are in the market look in our for sale section and ls1techs for sale section

Well here are more pictures of the bird, i think i might go for it. I went to see it, and there is absolutely no flaw what so ever. No paint chips, no tears, just some stains on the floor mats (which could be easly replaced). Here are some more pictures of it.

Black 2002 T/A M6- Green 1997 Ram 4x4
I like it.
Always have liked the LT1 WS6's body style.
Price is a little steep for the mileage, but it is pretty. Just remember though, you're buying this to more or less be a beater. It ain't gonna stay immaculate for very long, and that's when you'll regret not picking up a dirty mid-90s bird for 4-5grand.

Well I thought about it some more and ive decided against it. You guys are right, there are much better choices and prices out there, just have to wait it to come my way. Thanks for all your opinions!

Yeah, but i'm not looking to mod the heck out of it. Maybe a catback, but thats about it. Just want a fun DD that i can kind of beat up. I think it'll work for me.
MTI Lid, Corsa Catback Exhaust, Kooks Stainless Steel Headers, Kooks Y-Pipe w/Magnaflow Cats, Pro 5.0 Shifter, T56 Short Stick, SPEC Stage 2+, RAM Billet Aluminum Flywheel, Strano Lowering Springs, Koni 4/4 Shock Set, Strano Swaybar Set 35/22, Moser 9" Rear End, and a Tune.
